Data Analysis with Google Sheets

In this course, the participants will learn how to import data from Google Forms into Google Sheets and perform basic data analysis. They will understand how to sort and filter data, use functions like COUNTIF and AVERAGEIF, and create pivot tables. They will also be able to create charts and graphs in Google Sheets and use conditional formatting to highlight important data.

  1. Introduction to Google Sheets: In this video, the participants will be introduced to the interface and features of Google Sheets. They will learn how to navigate the interface, create new spreadsheets, and import data from different sources.
  2. Sorting and Filtering Data: This video will cover how to sort and filter data in Google Sheets. The participants will learn how to sort data based on specific columns and how to apply filters to narrow down data based on specific criteria.
  3. Using Functions in Google Sheets: The participants will learn how to use basic functions such as SUM, AVERAGE, and COUNT in Google Sheets to perform calculations on their data. They will also be introduced to more advanced functions such as IF and VLOOKUP.
  4. Conditional Formatting: The participants will learn how to use conditional formatting to highlight important data in their Google Sheets. They will be able to set rules to apply formatting to specific cells based on their values.
  5. Creating Pivot Tables: In this video, the participants will learn how to create pivot tables in Google Sheets. They will learn how to summarize and analyse large amounts of data using pivot tables, and how to customize pivot tables to fit their needs.
  6. Creating Charts and Graphs: In this video, the participants will learn how to create charts and graphs in Google Sheets. They will learn how to choose the right chart type for their data, customize the appearance of their charts, and add titles and labels to their charts for effective data presentation.
